Another week in lockdown and another post for you to read! Today, we are posting all about Palesa’s Luxury Baby Shower. My influential client, Palesa, approached me from seeing my previous baby showers in blues and wanted a similar set up for an intimate group of friends and family. We played around with different shades of blue and the result can be seen below. I love working with my balloon guys as they always amaze me with new colour suggestions that will work brilliantly with my theme or colour palette. We are aware that we are trendsetters in our industry thus after this particular event, we saw a surge of new planners trying to do the same colour palette like ours. Often failing, as our balloons are imported and the level of experience can always be seen on how a garland is looking once it’s done. But good try, we love knowing how Outlandish Events is  inspiring others however, we can’t say it enough, we inspire to create not copy!

Palesa’s Luxury Baby Shower

When any client approaches us to a pink or blue colour coordinated baby shower, we always strive to ensure that it’s different from the previous one. This is also dependant on the budget as well but the priority is to ensure all exclusivity to each client, no two events is the same. We don’t do the cookie cutter type of events. As can already be seen from our work, Outlandish Events (Pty) Ltd specialises in luxury celebrations – all of our events are bespoke, exclusive and tailored to each one of our clients.

There were no difference with Palesa’s Luxury Baby Shower. The venue of choice was the St Andrew’s Hotel and Spa in Bedfordview. A lovely venue and staff personnel indeed. I will always harp on the fact that if a venue’s staff is not helpful and accommodating to both the client and planner, they are failing big time. In order for Outlandish Events to recommend a venue, this is a crucial factor. The St Andrew’s Hotel and Spa didn’t fail to amaze me. We received excellent service from them and would definitely style an event there in future.

The funny part about this event and also as I have learnt in this business, African people have a tendency to be late. And not late by a couple of minutes, but more likely by a few hours! Same was with Palesa’s Luxury Baby Shower, everyone was late and the event started about 2 hours later than planned. Nevertheless, as always both my client and guests were blown away by out setup and had a really wonderful time.
