A very Happy New Year to all our clients, fans and followers across the globe – I am very excited for this year as the pandemic is looking more positive and reaching its end. I don’t want to believe anything else. I am ready to create fabulous events – bigger and better than before. So bring on 2022! We are kick starting the year with a series of blog posts that we didn’t get to share last year. So to begin, check out this Moody 40th birthday party we planned for one of our client’s husband.

Moody 40th Birthday Party – Decor Details

The brief from my client was moody and manly. Thus we created a lounge pod with tan leather couches and mixed with some steel and wood. We created an outdoor area with fairy lights installation which took this space to the next level. Our backdrop feature was wood with red flowers and lots of greenery. Lighting is always important and for the full impact of creating the right mood, we went all in with red. The outcome was simply amazing.

Table decor consisted of tall modern candelabra centrepieces with flowers. We added some rugged edged napkins to bring out the masculinity of this event. The event took place at the Library venue of one of Johannesburg Top Notch Hotels in Sandton – The intimate setting of the library venue enhanced the theme of moodiness and masculinity with it’s bold shelves and surrounds.

Outlandish Events is ready to bring the magic to you – I can’t say I had a break between the 2021 and 2022 transition as we were inundated with last minute events, but we are here to take your events to the next level. As I write this blog, it’s 11:20 am and my 8 year old son is begging me for toast and avocado so I have to rush off. The balancing act of a working mom and wife is real on my side 🙂
