Welcome to 2021 – I am tip toeing into this year and hoping and praying for this pandemic to come to an end. Just the fact that the wedding and event industry is not allowed to work again is affecting my spirits. We are officially opened to consult with you and quote you on your upcoming events. I decided to kick start 2021 with this Miami Themed 40th Birthday Party because it makes me happy and reminds of the good days that we could still work while respecting all regulations in place.

What I love the most about this Miami Themed 40th Birthday Party was the colours. Pinks, blues, turquoise were the perfect choice of colour palette to bring this theme to life. My client wanted a retro feel to the theme thus we opted for some classic decor such as the pineapples and large palm leaves but at the same time it was painted in different colours matching the overall colour palette. The cake was very retro and inspired by international trends. We opted for a grid backdrop with colourful balloons incorporating the palm leaves. A touch of disco balls to bring out the retro vibe of this theme. Lots of flamingos of different shapes and sizes were a must!
