Gosh I am bursting with excitement as I blog about this luxe baby shower in turquoise, white and gold we recently styled. I am blessed to have the most amazing clients who trust us to execute their visions. We have so many exciting things coming that I am finding it so hard to keep my lips sealed! Luxe Baby Shower {Turquoise, White & Gold}

For this baby shower, I met this amazing lady who exudes so much peace and confidence. It was so lovely working with Rue! She gave me a brief of what she wants and I presented her with some ideas and it was all smooth sailing from there – she trusted my judgement and planning process. Needless to say, she was absolutely wowed by her baby shower on the actual day – it’s always nerve-wrecking for me before my client arrives on the day – there’s always a WHAT IF? in my head haunting me! But that also pushes me to ensure that all the client’s vision has been executed flawlessly and perfectly.

We created a bespoke dessert area which doubled up as a photo area because it was too gorgeous. I am still totally obsessed and in love with the organic balloon garlands. I think it adds quite a magical touch to the any event. What is a huge trend at the moment is the plinth dessert area set up in variety of colours. It’s quite a refreshing idea from the usual and I have been enjoying using this style for my dessert area. Although more costly than using a normal table but so stylish!

The venue of choice was The Marion On Nicol in Sandton, a five star boutique hotel. I loved working here and the staff were friendly and helpful – no issues whatsoever! I highly recommend them for any type of gathering and they have a few venue options as well from intimate to large gatherings.
