Outlandish Events’ focus lies on quality, building long term relationships with our clients, exceptional values and services. This client that I am blogging about is one of my many clients who knows that our company stands true to this statement. We have styled many events for this client and each and every time, our hard work is highly appreciated. She always gives me the full reign on the decor and when an event stylist has such freedom on the decor, then the event is taken to a level of WOW like this Little Man 1st Birthday Party.

Little Man 1st Birthday Party Decor Details

So being a first birthday party, my client wanted this theme but with elegance. Usually the Little Man theme is quite casual. However, Outlandish Events added the element of elegance with gorgeous mirror boxes, tall silver candlesticks and beautiful frames. We also added some playfulness to the decor as you will see in the photos. For tablecloths, we decided to go with black and white stripes which in itself is a bold statement. White tiffany chairs completed the look we aimed for.

The colour scheme my client chose was Turquoise, black, white and silver. Together, these colours turned to be so gorgeous. Turquoise being such a tricky color, I had to ensure that all my suppliers were using the right shade of the colour – Nevertheless, they all beautifully tied in together.

The kids table set up was a miniature version of the adults. We designed custom made paper plates to fit in with the decor. Again, it just completed the look. Each kid were treated to personalized party bags with lots of awesome goodies inside.

Food and other goodies

My client treated all the guests to a variety of canapes and finger foods. Some of the items on the menu were chicken wraps, chicken strips, tart with cherry tomato, savory tart, mini beef pita and beef kebab. These canapes were beautifully displayed on tiers and cake stands. It was a feast fit for a king! For the kids, we had our usual mini pizza, hotdogs, nuggets and mini burgers. Desserts were sorted with a waffle station. Those waffles were to die for, topped with strawberries, Belgian chocolate and Nutella. Trust me when I say, they were irresistible and something for you to try at your next event.

The dessert table were completed with cupcakes, cake pops and macarons all in the themed Little Man 1st birthday party. As usual, hats off to our bakers who always does an outstanding job with the baked goods. They constantly tell me that I am always challenging them with my out of the box cake designs and well, they never fail! They always exceed my expectations and produce fabulous baked goods which are too good to eat!

Anyway, for entertainment, we had a magic show for all the kids and adults! Jumping castles, soft play for babies and face painting were the order of the day. I think it’s safe to say no kid left unhappy!!!
