I would like to start this post by saying that I only met this bride the day before her wedding due to the fact that she lived in a different province. As with many of my high profile clients both internationally and locally, we sometimes only meet for the first time on the day of the event. That is how trustworthy the Outlandish Events brand is and to prove that point, we won an international award in the United Kingdom for being the Most Trusted Luxury Wedding Designer in Gauteng. I was blown away when I was awarded with this title as we have so many clients that can testify to that.

I am grateful that I can say that God has blessed me with the most wonderful and easy going clients ever. It was such a pleasure planning this wedding for my clients. The fact that they trusted me fully made my work so much easier. The bride was simple in her requests, a classy, elegant and natural wedding reception. The colour palette that the bride chose for her dream luxury wedding by Outlandish Events was blush, sage and earthy tones with medium-sized multiple flower arrangements on tables.

To keep the wedding decor soft and flowy but at the same time natural as the client had requested, we opted for wooden tables with ghost chairs and round tables with tablecloths accompanied by wooden cross back chairs to accommodate 200 wedding guests. This way, the client got the classy natural look she wanted without the wedding reception being too rustic. The beautiful tablecloths definitely softened the overall look of this dream luxury wedding. The draping in the marquee tent also created a beautiful soft and flowy look. We added fairy lights and chandeliers to create a bespoke wedding reception.

Main Table Decor + Flowers – Dream Luxury Wedding by Outlandish Events

All the flowers were meticulously chosen to create the exact colours the client had envisioned. We worked closely with our florist to ensure that the client is getting exactly what she had dreamt of for her special day. For the main table, we built a white gloss walkway leading to an all white stage. The wedding took place in a beautiful garden surrounding and we designed a backdrop that would easily embraced the natural surrounding. Gorgeous flowers were added to the backdrop with a monogram of the bride and groom. Personalised plinths with flowers created a luxurious setting for the bride and groom.

Even though its a day wedding in a beautiful garden, I love to use candles. I think whether it’s day or night, the candles creates an added ambience and can easily switch from a gorgeous day to a magical night. Candles always brings out that romantic touch.
