It was such an honour to plan this Corporate Event – VIP Launch for my client. This was a high end corporate event consisting of delegates from the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as high profile individuals from the President’s Office back here in South Africa. There were around 200 guests who attended this event.

My client requested an upmarket cocktail seating as well as lounge pods set up for the delegates and diplomats. We supplied all the furniture in shades of blues and teals to stick to the corporate branding of both companies involved .

Once the cutting of the ribbon happened, we activated our confetti canons – It was definitely a wow moment followed by our fireworks shortly afterwards to truly mark this important celebration. This was another moment in history that Outlandish Events is proud to have been part of.

Outlandish Events also provided authentic African cuisine by one of our celebrity chefs for this Corporate Event – VIP Launch. Some of the items on the menu included a spit Braai as well as the following delicious finger foods:

Rice and cassava leaves with grilled fish

Beef shin stew with kwanga gnocchi

Smoked chicken balls in palm pulp sauce

Sautéed prawn tails in ginger and Pili-Pili sauce

Grilled beef skewers

Plantain and Makayabu ( salted cod fish ) croquettes

Lamb merguez with couscous

Chicken wings with Suya spice

Cassava fries with a green tomato and basil compote ( V )

Vegetable rolex with mango chutney relish ( V )

Green bananas and peas casserole ( V )

Baby vegetable tagine with steamed perles ( V )

A saxophonist welcomed guests on their arrival and set the mood for the duration of the event.
