It goes without saying how excited we are to be able to work again. I never thought in my entire existence that there would be a time in my life that I would actually beg to be allowed to work. I am glad that the worst is over and I am grateful that we are where we are at this stage. It was so exciting planning this Classical Pink and Yellow 4oth Birthday Dinner at Rockets in Bryanston. To start, Rockets is a beautiful place with the perfect atmosphere for any celebrations. The staff are so friendly and helpful that I would highly recommend this upmarket venue for any upcoming high end events you might have.

One of the things I love the most about planning special occasions, is when husbands approaches me to create an elaborate night for their wives to remember and cherish forever. Can it get more romantic and thoughtful than this? Leo was one of those husbands who contacted me to create a magical night for his wife’s 40th birthday celebration. She knew exactly what decor element she loved from my inventory, so together with that and my creativity, we created a beautiful night for Selma to cherish with friends and family.

Classical Pink & Yellow 40th Birthday Dinner – Decor Concept

As I said above, my client’s wife, knew exactly what decor elements she wanted to incorporate in her Classic Pink and Yellow 40th birthday dinner. She loved the bird cages, the classic gold candle stands, gold frames and the gold embossed under plates. With those elements in mind, I put together a beautiful set up for her with the gorgeous pink and yellow flowers. The chairs that the venue provided added to the ambience. The private dining area that we booked was quite spectacular with gorgeous lighting being a bold statement piece.

Our balloon garland in pink and yellow looked beautiful and tied in with the overall event. Balloon decor are becoming more and more trendy as time goes by. It’s one of my favourite elements in any event and the amazing pieces you can create if you have a creative mind, is just mindblowing. I must say there’s always a fine line between classy and tacky so make sure you get a professional to do any of your balloon decor.
