Working with Tinashe and Yogi on their joint Boho Luxe 40th birthday celebration was an absolute pleasure. What made it even more special was the fact that Tinashe and I shared the same birthday, which was on August 17th.

Tinashe and Yogi were both amazing clients who placed their trust in us completely. We provided a full event management service which included welcoming guests with delicious canapés, followed by a scrumptious braai paired with bespoke desserts. As part of the canapés served to guests upon arrival, we included some delicious samoosas and bunny chows to celebrate Yogi’s Indian heritage. The fusion of flavors perfectly reflected the diversity of cultures and backgrounds present at the party, and it was a delight to see guests enjoying these unique and delicious treats.

While the theme of the party was Boho Luxe, we added a touch of an African vibe to celebrate Tinashe’s African heritage. My favorite part of the celebration was the stunning combination of wood elements and beautiful baskets that we hung over the dining table. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous, complementing the peachy plates and blue napkins that adorned the table. The wicker underplates we used perfectly brought out both the boho and African vibe. The color palette for the Boho Luxe 40th birthday celebration was nudes, browns, burnt orange, and blue. This combination of warm and cool tones perfectly complemented the bohemian and African-inspired elements of this Boho Luxe Birthday Celebration, creating a cohesive and visually stunning aesthetic. The color scheme added depth and texture to the event, and it was a joy to see how it all came together.

To keep the guests entertained throughout the night, our talented DJ did an amazing job with the music selection. The energy on the dance floor was truly electrifying and made for an unforgettable experience.

It’s worth noting that the photography for the night was expertly handled by my amazing husband, who did a brilliant job capturing the essence of the celebration. His skills behind the camera helped to preserve the memories of Tinashe and Yogi’s special day for years to come.
