This party is way overdue on our blog – a bespoke Mermaid 3rd Birthday party we loved planning. I always say that when a client trust us with their event and give us full creative freedom, the event is always beyond their expectations.

With this event, it was no different. Reshana gave Outlandish Events the full creative freedom. And understanding Reshana’s lavish personality, we knew exactly how to ensure her satisfaction. We have previously styled her daughter’s 2nd birthday party and that was another beauty on its own!

Bespoke Mermaid 3rd Birthday Party – Colour Schemes

The colours for this bespoke mermaid 3rd birthday party was lilac, turquoise and purple. Kevara, our birthday girl was obsessed with the Little Mermaid. However, styling a Disney themed party is not something I look forward to unless I can style it with a twist. And Reshana knew that so we planned for a bespoke Mermaid party.

First and foremost, a balloon garland was absolutely necessary. This was our WOW factor to the whole event. As you can see in the photo, we created a mermaid’s tale at the end of the design. The dessert table was adorned with gorgeous Mermaid themed goodies. The birthday cake was something out of this world.

The Venue

The River Cabin is often our venue of choice due to the friendly staff, great service and reasonable pricing. They have a beautiful deck overlooking the Jukskei River and plenty of game roaming around on the property. Booking this venue is like a going away on a mini vacation, that’s how relaxed my clients and guests always feel. The River Cabin has plenty of grass area for an outdoor event. If there’s rain, then you always have the indoor area to proceed with your event.

Bespoke Mermaid 3rd Birthday Party – Entertainment

To welcome the guests, we had a bubble machine blowing bubbles. Needless to say the kids were highly entertained and at the same time, the bubble effect created the under the sea effect I was aiming for. We also had a Little Mermaid entertainer present as well and the kids were amazed.
