My all time favourite cartoon growing up was Winnie the Pooh – I loved the old school graphics and the story line. So whenever a Winnie the Pooh Party comes up for me to style, I simply enjoy it! We have done plenty of Winnie the Pooh parties before but I don’t think they made it to our blog due to my constant struggle with time. I am sure you can get some photos and videos of previous ones on our Instagram page.
As for Adhvika’s Winnie the Pooh 1st birthday party, when my client approached me, she was looking for a different angle and wanted it to be bright and colourful while staying true to the theme. She wanted the characters to be prominent in the event and be seen everywhere. As for the colours, we eventually opted to use shades of pink instead of red. As much as we moved away from the Classic Winnie the Pooh, we created a bespoke version of the theme.

Besides Decor Design and Event Conceptualisation, Outlandish Events also provided a Mocktail bar and delicious catering for the guests. My husband was the photographer on this event, and needless to say, he beautifully captured the day and all the little details that took months of hard work.
The entertainment booked was for adults and kids alike and was so much fun. Dot art is a style of painting created by the dotting of paint, rather than brush strokes. The dots are traditionally applied with a stick, but various instruments can be used to create this form of art. The adults thoroughly enjoyed it and I think it’s a great entertainment addition to any party.
